UltraTile ProPave Mortar Fibre Modified Cement Binder

UltraTile ProPave Mortar is a fibre modified cement binder which is intended to be mixed with water and grade aggregates to produce a rapid drying. This high strength bedding mortar is suitable for porcelain tiles and natural stone tiles. The ProPave Mortar is the first stage of the ProPave External Tiling System.

Follow with ProPave Slurry Primer which is added directly to the back of tiles and finish with ProPave External Grout.

This mortar can also be used to form falls within patios and driveways.

How To Use

Firstly prepare your sub-base of 30 - 100mm of type 1 hardcore / compact stone.

Once the sub-base is ready, a minimum thickness of 30mm bed of ProPave Mortar and aggregate can now be applied. For driveways & high trafficked areas, UltraTile recommends a 4:1 ratio due to loading. For domestic patios a 6:1 ratio is sufficient.

Mix the mortar, aggregate and water with a mechanical mixer if possible. If this is not possible, hand mixing will suffice. 

When ready, the mortar will hold together when formed in to a ball. You can create your bed of mortar and continue the ProPave External Tiling System with the ProPave Slurry Primer to lay your tiles upon mortar bedding.
